Oh DailyCandy, you are dangerous!
There I was, minding my own business, puttering away like a good worker bee when I happened to notice that I'd received new mail. Now I know I shouldn't be checking my personal email at the office (although I challenge you find me someone who doesn't... I bet they're boring), but it was DailyCandy's weekly Travel installment and I couldn't resist and quite frankly I'm glad I didn't.
Boy, was this one a doozy! Thanks to this little email, I now know of Black Tomato and am dreaming happy safari dreams.
Disclaimer: These are pretty pricey jaunts, especially after you throw in the exchange rate, but my-oh-my they sure do sound sublime!

Daydreaming
I have a confession to make.
I seriously considered deleting this blog.
This whole having a full-time job thing has really thrown a monkey wrench in my plans to explore the world. Which in turn means I don't have any fabulous trips to report about here. I am, of course, NOT complaining about being employed (only an idiot would in this economy), but it has made life, well, not so exotic.
Since in some sense however, maintaining this blog is inspiration for me to keep on traveling or at least daydreaming about it, I've decided to keep it around and instead include more of the miscellany the tag-line of this blog suggests would be included and more daydream-worthy items, if not actual adventure.
So... Daydream-Worthy Item No. 1: Jetsetter.com
It's Gilt Groupe's take on travel, i.e. luxury deals. Music to my ears.
